The pleasant aroma offers a tart, lemon-zest scent on the initial sniff and then turns waxy after aeration. The palate entry is bitter, with citric acidity and extreme tartness, but then turns richly lemony and hard-candy-like in the midpalate, providing a good balance among the lemon, the acid, and the alcohol. Ends up supremely lemony and astringent.
