Description
Tequila Olmeca Gold is produced exclusively from blue, ripe agave. An important element of the Olmeca tequila production process is the use of a handcrafted 2-ton Tahon stone, which is 500 years old. It is used to crush agaves and extract their juice. The liquid obtained in the fermentation process undergoes a double distillation process in copper stills. In order to obtain the appropriate quality and alcohol content, the liquid is heated at a temperature of 60 to 90 Β° C. Tasting notes: Tequila Olmeca Gold has a sweet, fruity aroma, with a delicate hint of citrus, grapefruit, and slight smokiness. The taste is sweet, with a hint of honey, smoke, and black pepper.
